Conservative Party NZ
Social conservative. Right. Cut the state. Traditional families. Against what they call radical social change. That is the right, more social than ACT.
What they want
- Traditional social conservative. They campaign against what they call radical social change, including self-appointed pronouns.
- Cut what they call government bloat. Traditional families and localism.
- Helen Houghton is standing in Tāmaki.
- Leave the Paris climate deal. Scrap climate taxes and the climate bits of government (10 August 2026).
- Spend the health budget on more patients treated, not just more money. Use public and private capacity. Train more staff here (17 August 2026).
- Restrict irreversible medical steps that would change a child's sex characteristics, unless medically necessary (4 August 2026).
- This is Colin Craig's old party under a restored name, not a new one. They hit 3.97% in 2014. They are nowhere near that now.
Things to watch
- Ross Meurant joined as an adviser in 2026. That is a name from the 1980s, not a donation story.
Who pays
Raised $9,520 in 2025. No named 2026 gift over $20,000.
